The Gregory Bailey Oratorical Contest & Dr. Anthony Stinson Scholarship Award

Winners from the Oratorical Contest held on May 1, 2021, will receive a scholarship (1st–3rd Place).

 

James Bennett Community Service Scholarship Award

The recipient of this scholarship is the Beau who actively engaged in an impactful community service project during the

school year.

 

Lloyd Grier Commitment Scholarship Award

Sponsored by the Nu Mu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Education Committee in honor of the late Brother Lloyd Grier, a longtime committee member. This scholarship goes to the Beau who has been committed to the DeKalb Alphas Mentoring Initiative the longest demonstrating great attendance and leadership.

 

George Moss Academic Scholarship Award

On behalf of the late Brother George Moss, a retired DeKalb County Schools Educator and Board Member of the Charles H. Wesley Education Foundation, the Moss Family presents this award to the Beau with the highest GPA.

 

Ray Spottsville Scholarship Award

This scholarship is awarded to the Beaux with the highest SAT and ACT scores.

 

John B. Jordan Scholarship Award

This scholarship is awarded on behalf of John B. Jordan, past President of the Charles H. Wesley Education Foundation and Board Member, to the Beaux with the highest rubric score.
